This post-Christmas, holiday time of year carries a unique and special energy. In Human Design terms, the Sun is transiting Gate 58, the Gate of Joy, and the Earth is transiting Gate 52, the Gate of Stillness, or The Mountain.

Sometimes, we can tap into that Joy and Stillness with ease. At other times, it feels like we SHOULD feel these energies but instead find ourselves experiencing their absence — or even their opposite.

In January our Yearlong training will be diving into the Gates of Human Design. As a prelude we thought we'd introduce the current transits to begin the journey and introduce people to the path.

Hi, I'm Robin...

A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist now turned Human Design Coach, Trainer & Author.

My first thirty years were pretty much a disaster. From a Human Design perspective, I can look back and understand that that was kind of inevitable.

For starters, I have my Conscious Sun in Gate 3, Difficulty at the Beginning, Innovation. Yeah, a late bloomer. Someone bringing new things to humanity. Not so easy!

Then there is the completely Open Identity Center – no solid sense of self. Continuously grappling with the question Who Am I? Not to mention, the 6/2 Profile: for those first thirty years I had to try everything to see what worked and what didn’t work. I made lots of messes. Not an easy time.

The good news is that this challenging beginning led me to explore and become proficient in a wide array of modalities. My passion for finding out how to alleviate suffering – my own and others – drove me to discover what truly worked.

Everything I learned I shared with the people I was here to serve. I delved into psychology, spirituality, bodywork…I immersed myself in Tibetan Buddhism, became a Rosen Method Bodywork practitioner, then a psychotherapist, did “The Work”, intensively with Byron Katie, was a Diamond Logos teacher…

Then, in 2006 I was introduced to Human Design. The revelation that my wife was a Projector, and I was a Generator had a massive impact on our relationship. It opened us up to accept each other as different. It created a new level of understanding.

I saw how I had been unfairly judging her need for rest and downtime, perceiving her as lazy… while she finally understood my “go-getter” Generator energy.

The Human Design journey infused my life and became a ground of understanding. I shared it with clients, wrote books about it, ultimately created a training to share this transformative gift of insight.

In January of 2019, I met Pali. Her teachings on Awakening opened another portal. The next level of gentleness and kindness toward myself and others was activated.

Overtime, Human Design and Pali's Awakening teachings and transmission the two wings of a bird, carrying me, and the students I worked with, to new heights on our journey of coming home to ourselves.

A consciousness coach and spiritual guide.

I first learned about Human Design back in 1999 and it completely transformed how I saw the world.

I was amazed by how brilliantly it brought together all the different modalities I had once studied into one esoteric approach to understanding the mind-body connection.

After having my Human Design chart read, it was like pieces of a puzzle falling into place—I finally understood why certain things had been challenging in my life.

About 10 years later, I experienced a major shift as the last remnants of my ego dissolved away.

I dropped my fear-based self, and opened to the Truth of who I AM.

In this context, my Human Design became even more alive in me because I finally understood it as the expression of my true self. It became a way for me to express my true self in a state of awakened, non-egoic consciousness. Since then, Human Design has been an integral part of my life, guiding me to function at my best and meet the world with the unique gifts I’m here to offer.
